Fresh Produce and Eggs Available!

With the favorable weather we've had, the crops in the main garden are still around! We still have salad mix, arugula, green onions, radishes, carrots, and herbs. Since the hard frost last week, we have been cleaning out the tomato tunnel. Thanks to Becca and Jordan, two graduate students at the University of Michigan's School of Public Health, we were able to get a good head start on that. In our other tunnel, we have planted a variety of greens, broccoli, kohlrabi, and onions. We hope those will continue to grow this month and become available in a few weeks.

Our 31 hens are very active layers! We have a good supply of eggs. As a special this week, we are offering two dozen eggs for $9.

To place an order: Please send us an email (bassrootfarm@gmail.com) or call us at (810) 208-0232 with your order by THURSDAY at NOON. We will confirm, process, and pack your order, having it ready for pick up at our farm (12983 Holtforth Road, Fenton). Pick up times will be Fridays 5:00-6:00 PM and Saturdays 10:30-12:00. Cash or credit cards accepted when you pick up your order.
