Fresh Produce and Eggs Available!


Thanks to those of you who placed orders last week! The weather and falling temperatures will officially end our warm crop season this week. So this will be the last week with (green) tomatoes and peppers.

We are busy putting our outdoor garden to rest for the winter. This includes tarping many of the beds to preserve the soil and allow the microorganisms to consume the crop residues from the summer months. Our garlic has been planted! We added another bed this year, so we should have plenty to offer next summer. We do have some garlic left from this season, so if you want some, now is the time to get it!

To place an order for this week: Please send us an email (bassrootfarm@gmail.com) or call us at (810) 208-0232 with your order by THURSDAY at NOON. We will confirm, process, and pack your order, having it ready for pick up at our farm (12983 Holtforth Road, Fenton). Pick up times will be Fridays 5:00-6:00 PM and Saturdays 10:30-12:00. Cash or credit cards accepted when you pick up your order.
