Bass Root Farm Mission - We aim to nourish our local community by producing nutrient dense food while striving to be good stewards of the land using sustainable and regenerative farming methods. We want our farm to be a site for learning, sharing, and cultivating wellness, an ideal place that provides a rich quality of life for all living things.
Notes from the Farm, Issue 3
October 2021

THANK YOU! We would like to thank all our customers for making our first season a great success. We have learned so much about growing food, from the planning, seeding/transplanting, maintenance/care, harvesting, washing, and packing for market. When we began, we overestimated how much food we would need and had an abundance of produce. As the season went on, we adjusted our production in view of customer demand and quantity needed at each market. This helped us achieve greater efficiency and less waste. We will continue to fine tune our planning strategies so that we can provide you with the best and freshest produce!
