Winter Update. Happy New Year! In late January, Farmers Mike and Sarah had the opportunity to travel to the South Pacific. Winter is truly the only time we can take an extended trip, and it's always fun to see a new part of the world. We visited the islands of Tahiti, Rakavara, Nuku Hiva, Rangiroa, and Bora Bora. Highlights included soaking up the hot and humid weather, snorkeling over multi-colored coral reefs, seeing all kinds of sea life, eating local cuisine, and having time to relax after a busy growing season. We are very grateful to have had this opportunity and know it has recharged us for the upcoming season!

Back on the farm, the unseasonably warm weather teases us to get outside and begin our preparations for planting. But we will not be fooled – it’s only February! Yes, we are able to get organized for the season, but we are not adjusting our planting schedule. A few years ago, we had a similar warm spell in late March and we were inspired to start planting. A week later, a hard freeze came along and wiped out some of our crops. So if you are trying your hand with gardening this year, we urge you to wait until mid-May before you begin planting.

Online Store. We are excited to announce the launch of our online store! Here you will find what we have available and in season throughout the year. Customers can make their selections online, pay via credit card or COD, and then come pick it up on the farm. During the winter season, our pick-up times are flexible. During the growing season (May-October), we will schedule specific times in coordination with our farming duties. Current offerings include eggs, mesclun mix, and collard greens.
Holly Market Update. We want to thank all our customers who visited our booth at the Holly Farmers Market over the past three years. This was the market that helped us get our start, and we grew from a small table of produce offerings to four tables and a double tent last year. Due to our children’s sports schedules and our focus on our CSA program, we have made the decision not to return this year. If you have been a loyal customer of ours - THANK YOU; we encourage you to shop from our online store and consider joining our CSA. We would love to continue serving you with a wide variety of Certified Naturally Grown produce this season.
CSA 2024 Memberships Still Available! If you have enjoyed our produce and are looking for a weekly supply of fresh vegetables during the growing season, we invite you to join our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program. We have small and large shares that are 3 or 6 months in length. We grow a wide variety of vegetables, so you will experience eating delicious produce freshly harvested when it’s in season. Members are sent a weekly email with their share’s offering and are allowed to make substitutions, based on preference and availability. There is no work requirement to be a part of our CSA, and you have the option to postpone your share if going on vacation. We provide members with recipe ideas and tips on working with unfamiliar vegetables. We also offer farm tours and look forward to hosting farm-to-table dinners. This is a wonderful way to eat healthy why supporting a local farm in your community. We look forward to being your farmers! To learn more, please click on the button below.
Spring Plant Sale. Are you looking for tomato, pepper, cucumber, herbs, and other types of plants for your own garden this year? All plants are started from organic seed and are grown using the same Certified Naturally Grown practices we use on the farm. Please consider purchasing your transplants from us this year!
