Bass Root Farm Mission - We aim to nourish our local community by producing nutrient dense food while striving to be good stewards of the land using sustainable and regenerative farming methods. We want our farm to be a site for learning, sharing, and cultivating wellness, an ideal place that provides a rich quality of life for all living things.

We are proud to be a "Certified Naturally Grown" produce farm, dedicated to using organic/non-GMO seed and avoiding the use of synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides. We do this because we believe Mother Nature knows best how to grow abundant, nutrient-dense produce. We are peer-reviewed by a fellow CNG-farmer each year. This provides us the opportunity to learn best practices from one another and create local community.
Thank you for signing up to receive information about our farm. Whether you are a customer at one of our markets, a CSA member, friend or family member, we greatly appreciate your support.
The 2023 summer growing season has been quite a roller coaster with the extreme changes in weather - from hot and dry, to hot and humid, and storms with hail. In addition, we have had to contend with greater pest pressure than in previous years. Despite these challenges, we are happy to report that most crops are healthy and thriving. We look forward to sharing abundant harvests throughout the season with you.
