Now that the garden has been put to rest and our remaining crops have stopped growing or are nearly gone, this will be our final week of fresh produce for 2021. We will continue to sell free range eggs through the end of the year and during the winter.
To place an order: Please send us an email (bassrootfarm@gmail.com) or call us at (810) 208-0232 with your order by THURSDAY at NOON. We will confirm, process, and pack your order, having it ready for pick up at our farm (12983 Holtforth Road, Fenton). Pick up times will be Fridays 5:00-6:00 PM and Saturdays 10:30-12:00. Cash or credit cards accepted when you pick up your order.
CSA Option Coming in 2022
We are working on developing a CSA (community supported agriculture) program for this spring. This gives you the opportunity to become a member or supporter of our farm by purchasing a share. In return, you receive a weekly box of fresh vegetables and eggs throughout the growing season. This model has been used by many small farms to ensure their viability and vitality in providing local communities fresh, nutrient-dense produce. Knowing your local farmer and where your food comes from is important for building community and supporting sustainable food systems. To gauge interest, please let us know if you are interested in participating and/or would like more information, by emailing us at bassrootfarm@gmail.com. If you know of a friend or relative who might be interested in this type of program, please pass this information along to them.
