Team Members
Bass Root Farm LLC is hiring for two (2) part-time positions (20-30 hours per week) to assist with all aspects of running a small vegetable farm. Team members will work in seed starting and propagation, bed prep, planting, trellising, weeding, mulching, pruning, harvesting, washing, and packing. In addition, team members will assist with the distribution of CSA shares and with the booth at the farmers’ market.
Employment Duration
Early April through early November
Skills and Dispositions Required
- Ability to work outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend over, and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively

Compensation
$15/hour
Working Days
Tuesday-Friday, select Saturdays (market)
Hours
9:00-4:00 T, W, Th, F
8:00-2:00 Sat
Skills Preferred
- Experience with gardening and/or farming
- Interest in organic farming and regenerative agriculture
Applicants should be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
All employees of Bass Root Farm are covered by a workers’ compensation policy.
